Our Mission

Power to the People

Personally controlled identity for ALL.

Our mission is to provide Everyone with free and unfettered access to their own personally controlled, universally accepted, privacy preserving, secure, irrevocable, personal identity infrastructure; built for all identification purposes; for both the online and offline world.

Our mission is to protect ourselves from imposters by deploying the very best available biometric and cryptographic technologies across a decentralized network of humans and devices so we can simply say to each other, ”I am a real person and I am who I say I am.”

Humanity is the foundation.

We will no longer allow our personal identity data to be copied and stored and bought and sold and spread across countless databases and websites where we have no control over who has access or how it's used.

We will no longer be forced to invent, recall, and safeguard passwords, prove our identity, prove our humanity with CAPTCHAs, or be tasked to retrieve verification codes.

We will reclaim our rights to privacy and security by removing the most invasive parts from the identity authentication process, and replacing them with simple biometric verification that we are physically present, and who we claim to be.

We will make verification a two-way street, so everyone using the network will know that whoever they're dealing with is really who they claim to be, and not some scammer trying to steal their info.

Legal Identity For Everyone.

Everyone has the right to be recognized as a person before the law, as enshrined in Article 6 of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights and Article 16 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

Proof of legal identity is defined as a credential, such as birth certificate, identity card or digital identity credential that is recognized as proof of legal identity under national law and in accordance with emerging international norms and principles.

As part of its Agenda 2030, the United Nations has set forth 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Goal 16:
To promote peaceful and inclusive societies, providing access to justice for all and building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
Goal 16.9:
By 2030, provide legal identity for all, including birth registration

Our mission is to support UN Goal 16.9 and to provide Everyone with free and unfettered access to their own personally controlled, universally accepted, privacy preserving, secure, irrevocable, proof of legal identity by 2030.
